Vodafone preps MVNO rush with Teleena

Vodafone is to approve a number of smaller MVNOs in the next months via its arrangement with aggregator firm TeleenaVodafone UK will open its doors to a number of smaller MVNO operations in conjunction with mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA) partner Teleena.Vodafone UK wholesale boss Tim Stone (pictured) remarked: “We have a strong belief in small as well as large players. It is about supporting the right partners and working with them.“And we clearly see that a number of small players can be sufficient to make it worthwhile. But within that, we will not just agree a load of MVNOs just for the sake of it. We apply the same rules of success to that market also.”Both Orange and Three have recently brought on a number of smaller MVNOs via similar wholesale arrangements with Transatel and X-Mobility, respectively.
